Here comes the third session of writing topics for part 2. Do you still remember the last two sessions? They may give you some inspiration for brainstorming your arguments in writing!

1) Education

  • Home-Schooling

Pros:

– Parents can respond to what their children need and how they learn best.

– Discipline problems are avoided by home-schooling.

Cons:

– Children will miss out on the social experience that school offers.

– Most parents do not have the necessary knowledge or resources.

  • Technology in education

Pros:

– Technology is a powerful tool to engage students.

– Students also learn skills which are useful for their future jobs.

Cons:

– Their handwriting and spelling may be harmed by automated tools.

– The quality of teaching may be affected by technical glitches and delays.

2) Family

  • Shrinking family sizes

Causes:

– The increased accessibility of birth control, such as the distribution of free contraception methods.

– The rise in the levels of education supporting women to be more educated and more likely to enter the job market.

Impacts:

– A reduced population will likely result in less poverty and less competition for scarce resources.

– The labor force will decline, thus affecting the future economic growth.
