1. take on 承擔
I was asked to take on more responsibilities at the office.
我在公司被要求要承擔更多責任。
2. expand into 擴展、拓展
We’d like to expand into some other markets.
我們想拓展一些其他的市場。
3. to bring about 導致、引起、造成
Don’t you think we should try to bring about change in our company?
你不認為我們應該試著使公司發生改變嗎？
4. shake up 進行調整
She really shook up our department with her innovative ideas.
她以她創新的思維對我們部門進行了調整。
5. come online 開始工作、上線
Our new service is going to come online at the end of the month!
我們的新服務將在這月底上線。
6. step aside 讓位、退出
Could you please step aside and allow the other passengers to go through?
能否請您靠邊讓一下，好讓其他乘客通過。
7. measure up 符合、達到要求
Last year’s intake just didn’t measure up.
去年納入的人數沒有達到預期的要求。
8. step up 採取行動
The new CEO really stepped up on this project! Great!
