IELTS作文有一種題目會要求考生compare and contrast一個主題，寫出佢哋嘅similarities同difference再進行對比。考生則需要識用「對比/比較」嘅句型，黎論證自己嘅立場。我哋整理咗6個表示「對比」嘅常用句型，供大家參考！
1. A and B are different in every way / respect / aspect A和B在每方面都不同。
Male and female are different in every aspect.
男性和女性在各方面都是不同的。
2. A and B differ in… A和B在……方面不同。
French and English differ in the respect of grammar.
法語和英語在語法方面有所不同。
3. While it is generally believed that A…, I believe B… 雖然普遍認為A….. ，但是我認為B……
While it is generally believed that the economy cares only about efficiency, I believe fairness is also important.
雖然人們普遍認為經濟只關心效率，但我認為公平也很重要。
4. the difference between A and B is/lies in/exists in… A和B的區別在於
The difference between domesticated animals and wild ones lies in whether or not possessing human quality.
馴養動物與野生動物的區別就在於是否具備人類的素質。
5. compared with/in contrast to A, B… 和A比起來，B…..

與發達國家相比，第三世界國家的識字率較低。
