相信大家寫英文 Writing 時都總會用過 important 呢個字，而講起佢嘅近義詞，最常聽到嘅就係 significant, essential, vital 等等，但大家又知唔知 unimportant 有啲咩近義詞呢？

 

1. Trivial

 

Some murder cases are often cracked by trivial details.

瑣碎細節成為了部分殺人案件的破案關鍵。

 

2. Trifling

 

It seemed pointless to argue for a trifling sum of money.

為一筆微不足道的金額而爭吵似乎毫無意義。

 

3. Inconsequential

 

She is a windbag who always talks much about boring things. You don’t have to pay too much attention as most of what she says is quite inconsequential.

她為人囉唆，總是在說一些無聊的事，你不必太在意她的話，因為她大多數說的都無關重要。

 

4. Piddling

 

The restaurant has only a few customers on weekdays. Therefore, the restaurant servers are doing piddling jobs.

這間餐廳在平日只有寥寥數人，所以餐廳服務員一般都是在做一些瑣碎事。

 

5. Immaterial

 

The comments on this drama are immaterial to me. I am going to watch it anyway because my favorite actor plays a part.

這部劇集的評論對我而言無關重要，我會觀看是因為我喜歡的演員有份演出。

 

6. Negligible
