1. Every dog has its day 每個人總會有出人頭地的機會

2. Put on the dog 裝模作樣
She always wants to put on the dog at the class reunion to show that she is very wealthy.
她總是想在舊同學聚會中裝模作樣,以表示自己過得很富裕。
3. In the doghouse 使某人生氣

這位律師不誠實的挪用了客戶的資金。

The leader throws her team member to the dogs to save her own reputation.
這位隊長為了保持個人的名聲,對待隊員就像是在對待棄掉的棋子一樣。
