1. Highball/ Lowball 提出的交易條件遠高/ 遠低於對方同意的條件
The company started the negotiation by highballing the other party’s expectations. Obviously, the other party will not agree.
開始談判時,公司提出的交易條件遠高於對方的期望條件。顯然,對方是不會同意的。
2. Drive a hard bargain 極力討價還價
In a free market, driving a hard bargain with the seller is a common phenomenon.
在自由市場中,與賣家討價還價是一種普遍現象。
3. Sweeten the deal 令交易變得更有吸引力
I believe the company is willing to cooperate with us if we sweeten the deal.
我相信如果我們令交易變得更有吸引力的話,該公司會願意與我們合作。
4. Deadlock 僵局
The negotiation ended in a deadlock as both parties cannot reach an agreement.
由於雙方無法達成協議,談判以僵局告終。
5. Agreement in Principle 大致上同意協議,但未敲定細節
The interviewee has an agreement in principle but we still need to negotiate the contract details.
面試者大致上同意了合約協議,但合同細節我們還需要協商。
6. Stand one’s ground 拒不讓步
They are proposing an unreasonable condition. We should stand our ground not to reach a consensus.
他們提出了一個不合理的條件,我們應該拒不讓步。
