Phrasal verb (短語動詞) 係指由兩至三個詞組成嘅動詞。
組合入面第一個詞係動詞，第二係副詞、介詞或副詞加介詞。

1. run out of 用完
We’ve run out of paper.
我們的紙張已經用完了。
2. opt out 撤出 / 退出 / 決定不參加
You can opt out at any time after joining the program.
你可以在加入計劃後的任何時候選擇退出。
3. make up 虛構 / 裝扮
Don’t make up excuses for your lateness.
不要為你的遲到虛構藉口。
4. cut down on 減少
We have to cut down on the budget this year.
我們今年要削減預算。
5. look forward to 期待
I look forward to meeting you soon.
我期待與你會面。
6. turn down 拒絕
I regret to say that I have to turn down your offer.
很遺憾我不得不拒絕你的錄用。
7. work out 計算 / 解決 / 運動

8. hold on 稍等

9. get over 克服
