We have learnt years of English, memorized thousands of vocabs. However, how much of the English we have learnt actually come in handy? Today, let Wall Street English teach you some useful expressions you can say when you are in a quarrel with somebody.  

 

1. Cut the crap! 

You say it to tell someone to stop dodging the question/topic and get to the point 

e.g. 

  • Cut the crap and tell me what you really want from me.  

 

2. What’s wrong with you? / What’s the problem with you? / What’s your problem? 

These expressions can be used when someone is rude or causing discomfort 

e.g. 

  • What did you just say? Seriously, what’s your problem? 

 

3. None of your business  

If something is none of someone’s business, they do not need to know about it. When you wish someone to stay out of your way, you may say “it’s none of your business”. 

e.g. 

  • Stay out of it. It’s none of your business.  

 

4. Get over yourself! 

You say it to tell someone to stop thinking that they are more important than other people, especially when they are complaining about something.  

e.g.  

  • Who do you think you are? Get over yourself! You are nothing to me.  

 

5. Piss off  

To become extremely angry / Tell someone to go away when you are extremely angry.  

e.g. 

  • Oh piss off, you are really getting on my nerves today. 

 

6. Dead meat  

If someone is dead meat, they are in serious trouble.  

e.g. 

  • Mess with me again and you will be dead meat.  

 

7. Enough is enough  

Used to say something must stop. You can’t stand it anymore.  

e.g. 

  • Enough is enough! You’ve gone too far.
