Hi there. I am Nathan from Wall Street English. Today I’m going to talk about questions that you can ask your waiter at a restaurant.
you could ask, “What is the soup of the day?” Or if you prefer no meat, “Is the soup vegetarian?”
No problem! Just ask,” Is the food raw, boiled or fried?” or simply “How is the food prepared?”
Simple! Just ask, ”Is the food big enough to share?” Or if you are hungry and want a free side dish, just ask expectedly, “What is the entrée served with?”
if you order white meat or fish, ask about white wine. “Does this dish go well with a Pinot Grigio or Chablis?”
ask about red wine. “Do you have any Rioja or Chianti?” If they answer “no”, leave the restaurant immediately.
That’s all for today. See you next time!
