Asking for a favour is always a bit difficult. What’s the best way to ask?

Let’s have a look.

Firstly, you must be polite when asking for a favour; so use your modals like Would or Could.

For example, “Could you help me?” “Would you help me?”

Another example is Would you mind + ing

For example, “Would you mind helping me?”

And of course, always add your “Please” and “Thank yous” to whatever request you’re making.

“Please would you help me?” “Thank you so much!”
