DSE Paper 2 要贏，就要贏喺第一句，要先聲奪人！Topic Sentence可能人人都識講，但又喺唔喺真喺知點寫先好？今次就有幾招教大家寫好Topic Sentence，自然所向無敵！

一齊睇睇寫Topic Sentence嘅重要事項喇︰

 

  • 扣題目Key Word

 

目的喺令marker知道你好清楚題目重點，所以如果問題問cultural heritage（文化遺產），你嘅Topic Sentence都要提呢個字眼。例如︰

The government’s choices for cultural heritage items is based on both the cultural and historical values of the features.

政府選擇文化遺產項目，是根據該項目的文化與歷史價值所選出的。

 

  • 引入句式

 

要寫引入喺因為要令marker知道將入正文，所以引入句式要唔太短又唔太長，有點綴作用，可參考︰

Firstly, it should be noted that…

首先，應該注意的是……

 

The primary reason accounting for …

……的主要原因是……

 

For short/long term measure, we should…

在短／長期措施上，我們應該

 

套入句式後︰

首先，應該注意的是，政府選擇文化遺產項目，是根據該項目的文化與歷史價值所選出的。

 

  • 直入論點

 

記得Topic Sentence唔好有太多解釋，直接講因果關係或問題嘅解決方法，因為解釋喺中段先寫，Topic Sentence就喺介紹一個概念。例如︰

For long-term measure, we should emphasize the responsibility in contributing to the society and family through education, in order to reduce the number of NEETs.

在長期措施上，我們應該在教育中強調家庭和社會責任，藉以減低尼特族的數目。

 

重要記得Topic Sentence唔好加例子，否則Topic Sentence就變得太冗長，唔能夠直接比到Marker睇你清晰同流暢嘅說理技巧啦！
