直譯喺淡茶嘅意思，就好似茶淡無味，用嚟比喻一些事情微不足道。

 

e.g. Her scandal is rather weak tea when compared to the other celebrities.

她的醜聞與其他名人相比，真是微不足道。

 

  • a storm in a teacup 小題大做

 

一個茶杯中有風暴，其實喺用茶杯比喻一件小事，而入面嘅風波再大都喺唔需要驚嘅。

 

e.g. You are just making a storm in a teacup. It’s only a slight cut on his finger.

你只是在小題大做，這只是他手上小小的割痕。
